ENROLLMENT PROCESS
To be placed on the Interest List for future enrollment, please complete our online application via Brightwheel along with a non-refundable $25.90 application fee (you will be invoiced after you complete your application online).
Registration is based on a first-come, first served basis, so it is never too early to apply!
Families are notified of enrollment in April for the upcoming school year. If you were not initially accepted, you will be placed on the waitlist and notified if/when space becomes available throughout the school year. Our waitlist for AM class will automatically roll over into our waitlist for PM class for the subsequent school year.
Upon the offer of a student enrollment spot at CVPNS, families must submit all non-refundable registration fees to secure their enrollment within 48 hours.
ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Children must turn 3 by December 31st to be eligible for our AM class or 4 by December 31st for our PM class
- Potty trained (or well into the process of potty training)
- Commitment to fulfill co-op requirements
CO-OP PRESCHOOL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Being part of a cooperative preschool is a lot of work – it can seem especially daunting in the beginning. Though it is not the right fit for all families or all seasons of life, the co-op experience is often tremendously fulfilling! At this age, children primarily learn through play that helps foster creativity, social-emotional skills, and learn that school is a fun experience that carries them for years.
Parents enjoy the rare opportunity to witness and influence their child in the classroom, receive ongoing support and feedback from early education specialists, and build friendships that often last for years. Many families have a deep loyalty to the preschool and return as alumni families with subsequent children.
Children leave the co-op ready to tackle the challenges of kindergarten, and parents retain parenting skills and techniques which will serve them long after their preschooler has graduated.

Weekly Workday Shift at Preschool
AM CLASS: 8:30AM - 12:30PM
PM CLASS: 12:30PM - 4:00PM
Parent Education Meetings
Mandatory attendance every 1st Wednesdays 7:00PM - 9:30PM
School Committee Job
Fulfillment of ~4 hours per month
School Maintenance
Complete 4 hours per school year
Housekeeping/Cleaning
Complete 4 hours per school year
Fundraising
Minimum of $150 raised per family
